The European Network Against Racism has the pleasure of inviting you to the launch of its latest Shadow Report: Racist Crime in Europe - ENAR Shadow Report.
The event will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels, room A7F387 on 6 May, from 6.30 pm to 8 pm.
During the event, there will be speeches and discussions from a range of experts, representatives, and officials including: MEP Peter Niedermüller (S&D, Hungary); Paul Nemitz, Director Fundamental rights and Union Citizenship, European Commission DG Justice; Sarah Isal, Chair of ENAR; MEP Birgit Sippel (S&D, Germany).
The launch event will share findings from the ENAR Shadow Report and create a space to discuss how we can combat racist crime in EU Member States and through the EU institutions. The report shines a light on the current situation of racist offences in Europe, reveals the experiences of victims of racist crimes and explores the role played by institutions and NGOs.
