This second European Diversity Conference entitled "’Origins’ and Business: Yes, you can! Dealing with ethnicity in the workplace", was organised by ENAR in partnership with L’Oréal, the French Association of Diversity Managers (AFMD) and the ENAR Foundation.
An increasing number of businesses are aware that some elements of their diversity management policies are missing: a specific focus on the questions of ethnicity, cultures and social origins.
This second Diversity Conference supported businesses in dealing constructively with issues of ethnicity, cultures and social origins in the workplace. It explored what businesses already achieve and could do further (taking inspiration from other contexts).
Different experts also presented their perspectives and analysed what can and cannot be done from their standpoints (e.g. legal, sociological or management).
Are you an organisation working on anti-racism and anti-discrimination in a European country?
ENAR’s Equal@work Platform brings together businesses, social partners, NGOs, public authorities and academics committed to diversity and inclusion, to find solutions for the participation of ethnic minorities in the labour market.
